Eurovision and UK

I have no idea why David Cameron wants to have a referendum on whether we stay in the Eurovision or come out. I know there are a lot of Eurovision sceptics within the Tory party but there is a simple solution to never winning. The Tories should get their best to the contest someone like Anne Widicombe will surely be able to give a better performance and increase the chances of not coming last? I say stay in the Eurovision its just a bit of fun.
