It is ridiculous that in Britain, a mature and civilised country, we allow the continuation of domestic violence and abuse against women. More than 50% of those questioned recently admitted knowing of households where this happens but not reported. This isn't right and I would like to see the main parties make dealing with this endemic problem their priority! Is it not a vote winner?? Total disgrace!
