Lambeth Unison held its annual general meeting today at the Lambeth Town Hall. More than 200 members attended to vote for election of officers, approval of expenditure and budget and several motions to do with the pensions dispute. Great and inspiring gathering. Here are a few photographs taken on the mobile. Chester Danvers got a standing ovation after he gave a speech urging members to reject the government deal and fight to save their pensions. Hassina Malik (first pictire) took charge of the catering and saved the branch more than 50% of the overall cost a move that pleased finance orientated people like myself...
It was also good to have you at the AGM to give the financial report. You looked as gorgeous as ever - you know I am one for aesthetics :)
