It is now 47 years since Turkish forces illegally invaded and occupied 37% of the Republic of Cyprus a full member state of the EU. Turkey is therefore occupying European Union territory which is in itself unthinkable but nevertheless true. The illegal occupation continues with Sadam Hussein. Of the Mediterranean Erdogan refusing to withdraw his troops.
