Cllr Whelan and TU Facilities
Cllr Whelan, leader of the very small group of Lambeth Tory Councillors, has placed a motion which will go to Council meeting tomorrow night. He wants to know what the cost of secondments are. This is of course a right that he and he group have but he should perhaps be asking what the real cost will be if in times of constant change and non stop reorganisations the organisation was left in chaos and had to consult with all members of staff on an individual basis. He forgets that it was a Tory government which brought it the TULRC Act of 1992. He should perhaps read what section 188 states and try to understand it?
