Cyprus elections

The results from the elections that took place at the weekend in Cyprus have not been a surprise. The right wing party DISY increased the share of its vote by around 2% but they only have 34% of the total vote. So although thhey will be the largest party in the House of representatives communist AKEL with 32% and the centre right parties like DIKO and EDEK can continue to support the communist President Dimitri Cristofias. Nothing changes..
