Climate change in Bangladesh: building capacity and speaking with one voice
In November, Judith Carreras of Sustainlabour visited Bangladesh as part of a TUC-funded project to support the Bangladesh Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Foundation to work on climate change. The project aims to build capacity within trade unions on the issue of climate change, to build a common position, and to lobby the Bangladesh government and donors such as the World Bank to properly consider employment issues within climate change.Below are some extracts from Judith's diary during her week-long visit.http://www.tuc.org.uk/international/tuc-18952-f0.cfm
