Ageism in London is rife even though employers claim they cant recruit people to do the work. i randomely visited 8 Costa cafes in central London, one in Wood Green, Southgate and Cockfosters none of those working there were older than 35!! On top of that a good friend of mine who is 50 and physically fit was rejected after sending in his online application. Wonder what Costa and ACAS when this is passed on to them will have to say?? The rejection email arrive 30 minutes after the application was submitted!!
I am copying this to the BBC watch dog programme, the TUC and several MPs who I have worked with over the years.
